Carrying out higher non-academic education activity is the mainstream trend of transforma- tion of continuing education development, and it is also an important measure to implement the national development strategy. At present, the development of higher non-academic education has basically formed a certain mode of operation. It has been playing an important role in the field of social mem- bers＇ learning needs and social services, expanding the sources of funding for colleges and universities. Through the analysis of the main problems in non-academic higher education development, the author argues that colleges and universities should reform the innovation and development of ideas, smoothen operation mechanism, enhance quality assurance, and build cooperation platform, so as to realize and maintain sustainable development.
