身管是火炮、自动武器的重要组成部分。径向锻造是一种新的制造身管的方法,相比传统的身管加工方法,采用径向锻造工艺加工身管不仅节约材料,而且使身管强度得以提高,寿命得以延长。以某身管径向锻造过程为研究对象,用三维建模软件SolidWorks建立身管径向锻造的三维模型,借助金属塑性成形有限元软件Deform对身管径向锻造过程进行数值仿真模拟,分析了径向锻造过程中膛线形成时金属的流动情况,并通过试验加以验证,试验结果表明,材料在受到锻压力产生变形时,存在中性面,中性面两侧的金属材料同时存在径向和轴向的变形,与仿真结果相吻合。
The barrel is an important part of the artillery and automatic weapons. Radial forging is a new method for manufacturing barrel.Compared with the traditional tube processing,the barrel manufactured by radial forging has higher intensity and longer life,also the material can be saved. For radial forging of a barrel,the three dimensional model of barrel was established by 3D software SolidWorks and the deformation of barrel was numerically simulated by the metal plastic forming finite element software Deform during the radial forging process. Furthermore,the material flow was analyzed when the rifling was formed and verified by test. The test results show that when the material is deformed by forging,a neutral surface exists,and the metal materials on both sides of the neutral plane generate deformation in both radial and axial directions. So they are in agreement with the simulation results.
