The tone of Hmong language plays the function of distinguish in communication. Epic is a long folk narrative used to inherit and record the development of ethic history of Miao culture,which is also the essential component of the corpus of Miao language. Investigate the tone changes through the recording of epic is the important practice of field linguistics.
