There is an interactive relationship between urbanization and industrial transformation： the urbanization can promote the development of the industrial transformation and is a driving force of the industrial transformation; the industrial transformation has become a basic driving force of the urbanization development and determines the level of the urbanization. At present,there are some problems between urbanization and industrial transformation in Jilin Province： it is biased to the industrial structure and the function of the urbanization is weakened; the spatial distribution of industry is dispersed and the spatial distribution of urbanization is unreasonable; the economic development mode is extensive and the quality of urbanization is not high; the brain drain and population aging are prominent. We should accelerate the industrial upgrading,rationalize the layout of the industry,strengthen the integration of the city-industry,deepen the reform of state-owned enterprises and promote the sustainable development of talents so as to improve industrial transformation and new urbanization and the quality of the city-industry development.
