【Purpose/significance】New-type urbanization emphasizes the people-oriented, the balance between urban andrural, and comprehensive improving the quality of development, it is the same as the development concept of the guaranteeof public information service.【Method/process】Based on the public information service system, this paper puts forwardsome countermeasures and suggestions for the guarantee of the public information service in the process of new-typeurbanization, mainly to insist on multi-agent participation in public information service, improve the informationconsciousness of service object, enrich the content of public information service, and standardize the platform of publicinformation service.【Result/conclusion】The guarantee of public information service is an important means of buildingsmart city, coordinate development and enhance the quality of life in the process of China＇s new-type urbanization.
