The questionnaire investigation was used to analyze the actual state of investors＇ participation in stock forums and the influencing factors of investors＇ participation in stock forums from the aspect of information content and behavior factors.This study shows that stock forums are popular among Chinese investors and characterized by apparent professionalism.The probability of the participation of securities market investors in stock forums is higher than that of investors who are not involved in stock forums;the percentage of investors who once visited stock forums was 82.1%.The willingness to visit and to post stock forums was influenced by information factors and behavior factors.At 0.05 significance level,the willingness to visit was influenced by the motives for obtaining basic information and investors＇ standpoints,and observing spokesman＇s speech requirement and sense of competence.The willingness to post stock forums was influenced by the motive for obtaining realistic information and sense of competence.
