Based on village environmental image investigation, and bottom up public participation practice, the paper uses spatial element analysis and sociological survey methodologies; analyzes spatial image of road, edge, region, node, and landmark; increases village planning rationality and feasibility; and studies village planning techniques based on environmental image.
