With the development of the national economy, air conditioning environment unable to meet the people＇s pursuit for healthy and comfortable environment. We research the Lingnan traditional ventilation methods and techniques, expound the important significance of the traditional ventilation solutions to improve the living environment. We also analyze the characteristics of different ventilation systems under the hot and humid climate in Lingnan, and introduce the systems through the details, such as courtyards, dispersions and components. Finally we sum up the theory and experience, which has a certain reference value to today＇s housing construction and reference.
