Promotion of the research and development of automatic ATC system comes from the need to improve the efficiency of ATC. The automatic ATC system mainly includes two parts : the aircraft track synthesis system and on - time scheduler system. This article mainly discusses the algorithm of scheduling problem in the on - time scheduler system. That algorithm mainly deals with the problem of aircraft scheduling in approach control area. Under certain assumptions, the incoming of aircrafts can be abstracted as mathematics model, and the scheduling process can be defined as an optimal value function. Finally, scheduling programs are used to setup and test the model.
