In recent years, the research results about Rimulus cinnamon with widely used in clinics show that the essential oil is the main substance responded to its pharmacological activity, and the researches on Rimulus cinnamon essential oil have been widespread concern. This paper summarized and analyzed the pharmacological effects of Rimulus cinnamon essential oil, including anti-inflammatory, anti-virus, anti-tumor and anti-bacterial etc. activity, the research results provide the pharmacology basement for the clinical application for Rimulus cinnamon, and benefit for its further development and utilization.
