Aiming at the defects existing in the contemporary methods and technology system of historic building＇s conservation, a historical preservation guidelines system was established based on analysis of the constituent elements for the protection the historical building guidelines of. And the protection design guidelines and the relationship between protecteon and design was theoretically discussed, forming the framework and content of protection design guidelines. Moreover, the technology and methods to carry out protection were researched, fulfilling the research on the guidelines for historic building conservation with conversion from elements analysis to system analvsis.
