Modern architecture is an important part of energy and material consumption. With resource shortage and environment worsening, keeping the building materials develop persistently and improving the comprehensive utilization rate of energy and resource have been concerned by the society. From the perspective of architectural material resource, this article discusses the architectural characteristics, trend and experiences under the concept of sustainable material resource by analyzing some cases of sustainable architecture design, and points out the gaps in this field between China and the developed countries.
