英文摘要：

In this paper the varieties of global rare earth consumption were quantitatively studied and analyzed. And the varieties of applications of rare earth in both the new materials field and traditional application domain were also qualitatively analyzed. The global rare earth consumption trend and the major increasing consumption filed were obtained based on the quantitative and qualitative analysis. The consumption imbalance of different rare earth elements in different terminal consumption areas will be becoming greater for the varying of the rare earth demand.
