The varieties of rare earth reserves and supply trend of rare earth concentrates, refined products and new mate- rial products in major countries were systematically studied and analyzed in the paper. And the effects of regulation poliey of rare earth production on rare earth prices and production in China were also studied. Based on the quantitative and qualitative analysis, it is concluded that the supply quantities of rare earth outside China will increase, and the supply,patterns of rare earth will be diversified. And the production proportion of rare earth in China will be on a descending trend.
