Because the teaching contents of atomic structure and molecular structure are abstract, they have become one of the difficult teaching points in the curriculum of basic chemistry in school of medicine. The application of simple and effective teaching mode such as imagery metaphor may help students exactly to understand abstract knowledge related to chemical structures and to improve their imagery-thinking ability. This also provides the basis for students to exert imagination and creativity in their learning successive public and medical curricula, and future professional works.
