“贫民窟”是城市化与工业化失衡而形成的城市空间极化现象。任何现代国家与地区都应当谨防贫民窟现象的发生。基于上海城市发展的考察分析,本研究认为,贫民窟现象确实存在于中国城市的历史记忆中,但因国家政府对贫民窟的精心治理,目前中国城市的贫民窟濒临绝迹,这体现了社会主义国家政府的治理能力与治理水平,是现代化国家城市发展的“巨大奇迹”。但随着城市化的深度发展,城市的边缘生存空间频现于城市不同角落,这亟需国家政府通过缩小城乡差距、减少城市贫困、共谋区域改造等方面努力,尽量回避城市贫民窟现象,从而实现城市化的有序健康协调发展。

英文摘要：

＂Slum＂ is the urban spatial polarization phenomenon caused by the imbalance between urbanization and industrialization.Any modern countries and regions should guard against the occurrence of slums.From the analysis of Shanghai urban development, suggest that slum phenomenon does exist in China＂ s urban memory, but because of the national government＇s careful management of the slums, currently China＂ s urban slums has been on the verge of extinction,which reflects the ability and level of the government to manage the socialist state and is a ＂great miracle＂ in the development of modern cities. However, With the deep development of urbanization, marginal living space frequently appear in different corners of the city, which requires government to narrow the gap between the city and the countryside, reduce poverty and a- chieve common region reconstruction to avoid urban slums and realize the orderly healthy coordinated devel- opment of urbanization.
