Since the implementation of new medical reform, there has been the phenomenon that policies related to foreign capital invested in hospitals were promulgated in a short period of time, which makes foreign medical institutions get a wider space for development. However, it is essential for us to re-examine related problems about foreign medical institutions in the new policy environment when we take the survival situation of China＇s foreign medical institutions into account. Based on the development status and the development environment of foreign medical institutions, the paper tries to get rid of the ideological barriers, to promote the separation of management from operation and to improve the micro-policies to look for the effective ways that promote the development of foreign medical institutions, and finally to promote the harmonious development of domestic and foreign medical institutions.
