本文研制了一种实用化石英光纤球形头。实验中采用大芯径石英光纤,把石英光纤的一端熔融拉锥并研磨成锥形端面,采用特殊助剂方法在其上面加入特殊的物质后研制成球形端面,并对所研制的石英光纤球形端面输出光功率进行测试。研究结果表明,球形光纤头的各个角度输出光能量较均匀,尤其是侧面输出光功率得到了很大改善,而且依据所研制光纤球形头工艺稳定,有实际应用的潜力,为光纤的进一步实用化提供了依据。
This paper mainly discusses the research of a new-type quartz fiber spherical probe. The large core quartz fiber is adopted in the experiment. The one end of the quartz fiber is pulled into the awl and terminal surface, making spherical terminal surface after adopting the special auxiliary method and adding the special material on it. The output power of quartz fiber spherical probe is tested. The result of study shows that all angles of optical fiber produces all energy evenly, especially the side output power has been got very great improvement. The method craft is steady, and it has practical application potential and offers the basis for the further practicality of optical fiber.
