Cytokines,as a kind of hormone-like polypeptide with wide biological activity,play an important role in the process of in-vitro fertilization and embryo transfer（ IVF-ET）,which have attracted wide attention in the field of IVF-ET. With the development of IVF,TCM therapy of invigorating the kidney and regulating the Thoroughfare Vessel is used more in the modern assisted reproductive technology（ ART）. It plays an important role in improving IVF treatment outcome. This research reviewed the progress of cytokines regulation in follicular fluid and the treatment outcome of IVF with TCM therapy of invigorating the kidney and regulating the Thoroughfare Vessel.
