OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents of Gentiana veitchiorum. METHODS Seven compounds were isolated and purified by silica colunm chromatography,preparative TLC,and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. The chemical struc-tures of the compounds were identified on the basis of 1D-and 2D-NMR spectral analysis.
