首先论述了培养大学生数学应用能力的重要性和迫切性，然后对现阶段大学数学应用能力培养的现状和原因进行了分析，最后指出开展数学建模活动和开设数学实验课程是培养大学生数学应用能力的有效途径。

英文摘要：

This paper expounded the importance and urgency for cultivating undergraduates＂ mathematical application ability,analyzed the current situations of the cultivation and their causes ,and pointed out that the activities of mathematical modeling and mathematical experiments are effective ways of cultivating college students＇ mathematical application ability.
