STATCOM是柔性交流输电系统(FACTS)中无功补偿的发展方向,其基本控制方式的研究具有重要意义。首先运用PSCAD/EMTDC软件对STATCOM两种基本控制策略:恒电压控制与恒无功控制进行仿真分析并比较两种控制方式的优缺点。为了改善直流侧电容电压波动问题,在基本控制基础上附加定直流侧电压控制并取得了良好的效果。最后,分析强制补偿控制投入后对带有定直流侧电压的恒无功控制策略的影响,指出恒无功控制在提高电力系统暂态稳定性方面的优势。
As an important component of Flexible AC Transmission Systems(FACTS),STATCOM is the main direction for the development of reactive power compensation.The research of its basic control methods has great significance.Firstly,PSCAD/EMTDC software was applied to simulate and compare the two basic control strategies of STATCOM: constant voltage control and constant reactive power control.In order to reduce the fluctuations of DC side voltage,supplementary DC side voltage control was added to the basic control and achieved good results.Finally,this research analyzed the effect of constant reactive power control strategy with DC side voltage control when high compensation was applied.The results indicate the advantage of constant reactive power control strategy for improving the transient stability of power system.
