Firstly,when the 3-th recurrence relation has two equal characteristic roots,a method is proposed for solving a three term boundary value problem.Secondly,according to the various cases of characteristic roots of k-th recurrence relation,a approach of constructing solutions of a k-term boundary value problem is given by using the Cramer＇s rule and the method of generating function.Finally,two examples are presented to illustrate the method in this paper.
