Based on the analysis of the changes in the agricultural capital profit margin, and the statistical results of 1978--2007 time-series data, applying capital margin fluctuation related theories, and constructing an MLR model that influences the fluctuation of agricultural capital profit margin, we conclude that the growth rate of rural economy has a stable cointegration relationship with agricultural capital profit margin in a longer term, the price of agricultural output has a significant positive relationship with capital profit margin, and the capital labor ratio, the number of farmers and capital profit margin form a negative relationship. Some brief countermeasures and suggestions are presented at the end of this article.
