基于现有的调整802.11 DCF竞争窗口重置策略,提出了一种改进的基于竞争窗口动态调整的退避算法WDCF。通过对连续传输成功次数X设定一个分段函数,WDCF动态调整不同退避阶段竞争窗口减半的概率。借鉴传统TCP协议拥塞控制思想,X首先以指数方式增长,达到阈值后线性增长。同时,采用二维Markov chain模型,就竞争窗口调整策略对802.11 DCF性能的影响进行理论分析,并计算提高的吞吐量。结果表明,该算法能够有效提高802.11 DCF的饱和吞吐量。
A novel contention window adjustment mechanism of 802.11 DCF is presented, i.e.WDCF.We begin with the analyses and evaluation of existing strategies on contention window resetting reported.On this basis, we, after X consecutive successful transmission, set a subsection function to adjust the probability of halving the contention window size dynamically.Initially, X increases exponentially with backoff stage, then turns to increase linearly when the threshold is hit, similar to the traditional TCP congestion control.Then, we use a Markov chain model to analyze the impact of our strategy on 802.11 DCF performance, and evaluate the enhanced 802.11 DCF throughput.The analytical and simulation results demonstrate that this algorithm improve the saturation throughput effectively.
