‘CAF4’is a new Cajanus cajan cultivar,bred from offspring of hybrid pigeonpea cultivar ‘ICPH3432’which was introduced from India. Single plant selection and group selection were applied into the breeding course. Its growth period ranges 162–166 days and average number of pod per plant is （644.4 ± 202.4）;Each pod contains（3.6 ± 0.4）beans;100-seed weight is（9.62 ± 0.89）g;Total seed weight per plant is up to（113.76 ± 41.64）g.
