运用产业组织理论方法,研究了2个高新技术产业开发区之间的差异化竞争策略。在双寡头竞争环境中,假设2个高新技术产业开发区面对线性需求情况下,研究了提供具有横向差异化产品的2个高新技术产业开发区扩展产品范围的可能结果、盈利性及其福利影响。研究发现了提供横向差异化产品的高新技术产业开发区的产品范围决策的几个关键因素,即引入新品牌的固定成本、产品差异化程度和竞争方式。从理论上揭示了我国高新技术产业开发区产业专业化水平较低的动机。
In this paper,we focus on differentiation strategy of Hi-tech zones from the industrial organization view.In duopoly competition,two Hi-tech zones have liner demands and provide horizontally different products.We study the possible impacts of expanding products scope on the competition and the welfare.We show that the fixed cost of introducing new brands,the degree of product differences and the way of competition have impacts on the differentiation strategy of Hi-tech zones.Our findings show the reason that Hi-tech zones have low specialization level.
