Based on the study of the characteristics of the traffic flows and ships behaviors in harbor public channels,this paper introduces the concepts of navigation domain,cross domain and import domain and further sets up a general computing model of harbor public channel traffic capacity under the condition of multiple sources,inbound or outbound.The model reflects the effects of various factors on traffic capacity,not only the effects of the attributes of the channel,ships and traffic flow but also that of ship＇s behavior.
