Healthcare seeking behaviors are influenced by health system and health policy directly or indirectly.The Basic Medical Care System,which includes the Basic Health Security System,the Basic Medicine System,the Basic Medical Service System and the Basic Public Health Service System,aim to relieve the issue of＂seeing a doctor is difficult,seeing a doctor is expensive＂,and to ensure residents to get reasonable medical treatment,through the supply of the basic health services.The paper reviews theory and empirical studies about the relationship between health system and healthcare seeking behavior,and the impacts of health system on residents＇ healthcare seeking behavior,such as the extent and path of influence.This research also compares the policy-sensibility of healthcare seeking behavior,and put forward the adjustment direction of various health policies.
