This paper attempts to analyze the defects and advantages of the paternalism model and the model of respect for autonony, proposes and justifies the negotiation-based model of the physician-pceient relationship. Through the negotiation between physician and patient, the negotiation-based model emphasizes the priority of the principle of beneficence, places the principle of respect for antonomy under the principle of beneficence, and regards it as a guarantee of the principle of beneficence.
