Germany is one of the earliest countries that have research on the nanoethics. After more than ten years of development, it has great influ-ence in this field. In the aspect of theory, the research focuses on the philosophical basis of nanoethics, such as the characteristics of technoscience of nanotechnology; In the aspect of practice, it contains the assessment of nanotechnology and how to deal with the problem of nanoethics, such as vision assessment of nanotechnology and the strategy of the wisdom ethics; In the aspect of methodology, it suggests the approaches of explorative philosophy of nanotechnology and the perspectives of cultural diversity to better understand the nanoethics. The research of nanoethics in Germany based on its national situation. It provided some theoretical reflections and policy suggestions for the sustainable development and responsible innovation of nan-otechnology. Meanwhile, it faces with some limitations. The research of nanoethics in Germany has an important referential significance for China ＇s research on this field.
