通过熔融共混制备出了聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)/膨胀型阻燃剂(IFR)复合材料,采用UL94垂直燃烧、极限氧指数测试(LOI)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、拉伸和冲击测试来表征其阻燃性能和力学性能;系统地研究了不同含量的IFR对PBT阻燃性能、力学性能的影响。实验结果表明,随着阻燃剂IFR含量的增加,PBT/IFR复合材料的阻燃性能逐渐提高,但其力学性能相应地下降。当阻燃剂质量分数为30%时,达到V-0级,综合性能最佳。
Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) /intumescent flame retardant (IFR) composites were prepared by melting blending method. The flammability and mechanical properties of PBT/IFR composites were analyzed by UL-94 vertical combustion test, limiting oxygen index (LOI) test, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), tensile test and impact test. The influence of different IFR amounts on the flame retardation and mechanical properties of the PBT/IFR composite was investigated. The results show that although the flame retardant performance of the PBT/IFR composites gets better with the increase of the IFR content, the mechanical properties decline gradually. The PBT/IFR composites reach V-0 rating and has the best comprehensive property when the IFR content is 30wt%.
