锁固段加速破裂过程中,在体积膨胀点和峰值强度点会发生标志性地震事件.本文基于孕震断层多锁固段脆性破裂理论及地震事件量级匹配原则,提出了标志性地震事件断层破裂长度预测模型,实例分析表明该模型可靠,据此可预测未来标志性地震事件的发震断层破裂长度.
Characteristic earthquake events are defined as ones occured at the volume expansion and peak strength points during the accelerating failure process of locked patch. According to the brittle failure theory of multiple locked patches in a seismogenic fault system as well as the earthquake magnitude matching principle,a prediction model of fault rupture length for characteristic earthquake events is presented. This model is verified by case study and thus can be used to predict the seismogenic fault rupture length of the characteristic earthquake events.
