制动盘的弹性模量对制动尖叫具有重要影响。建立制动盘的有限元模型,分析弹性模量对自由模态和约束模态的影响,进而建立制动器的复模态有限元模型,分析弹性模量对不稳定模态频率的影响,同时从模态振型的角度探索弹性模量对模态耦合特性的影响,揭示弹性模量影响制动尖叫的规律。研究发现,弹性模量变化不改变自由和约束模态振型,但模态频率的平方与弹性模量呈正比例关系;不稳定模态频率一弹性模量曲线与约束模态频率一弹性模量曲线的吻合程度体现了制动盘对不稳定模态耦合的影响程度不同,需要根据不同的不稳定模态具体分析弹性模量的影响,以指导材料选型。
The elastic modulus of brake disc has great influence on brake squeal. In this paper, a finite element model of a ventilated brake rotor was established to analyze the effect of elastic modulus on the free and constrained modal characteristics. And then a model with complex eigenvalues was established based on finite element method to study the impact of elastic modulus on the squeal. It was found that the variation of the disc elastic modulus has no change on either the fi'ee or the constrained mode shapes. However, the square of the corresponding modal frequency is directly proportional to the elastic modulus. The difference between the instable frequency-elastic modulus curve and the constrained frequency-elastic modulus shows the different influence of rotor characteristics on the instable modal coupling. The effect of disc elastic modulus on each instable squeal mode must be carefully analyzed to aid the disc material selection.
