The paper presents on adaptive failure detection in Byzantine-Fault-Tolerant replication algorithm. Adaptive failure detection can dynamically adjust the detector time to the requirements of applications and runtime environments. The requirements of BIT for failure detector are satisfied by the good failure detection. When the primary replica is failure, the performance of Byzantine-Fault-Tolerant service is improved by reducing time of view change.
