As one type of domestic violence,economic control is not listed as a typical behavior in Anti-Domestic Violence Law and Marriage Law Judicial Interpretation for following reasons:The word“economic controlbehavior”does not accurately express cruelty,and economic control behavior should be taken place by“economicabuse”in Chinese context;and due to the hidden nature of economic control behavior,whose judicial boundary isfuzzy,it is difficult to make the definition.Economic abuse also has the characteristics of other typical domesticviolence.In the Civil Code,economic abuse should be named as the object of anti domestic violence prevention,inorder to ensure the benign interaction between family systemand social system.
