用溶质截留法和液-液排除法对两根TiO2和ZrO2无机陶瓷超滤膜进行表征.溶质截留法所测得TiO2和ZrO2膜的平均孔径(μp)和几何标准偏差(σp)分别为30.8nm,25.4nm和1.82,1.58.液-液排除法测得TiO2和ZrO2的平均孔径分别为71.2nm,54nm,大约是溶质截留法的2.2倍.两种测定方法的结果均显示,TiO2膜的平均孔径大于ZrO2膜,而且TiO2膜的孔径分布较宽,但从最可几孔径来看,两种膜比较接近.对同一根膜而言两种表征方法测得的孔径分布的基本形状相似.实验结果表明两种方法都能较好的反映膜的孔径分布,将二者结合起来对超滤膜的表征有很好的借鉴意义.
Two kinds of inorganic ceramic ultrafiltration membranes TiO2 and ZrO2 were characterized by solute transport and liquid-liquid displacement porosimetry (LLDP). The mean pore sizes (μp) and geometric standard deviations of the membranes mentioned above (ap) calculated by solute transport method are 30.8 nm, 25.4 nm and 1.82,1.58, respectively. Mean pore sizes of the two membranes measured by LLDP are 71.2nm, 54 nm, respectively, and are about 2.2 times larger than that calculated from the solute transport. The results from both methods showed that two membranes had close most probable pore size, but TiO2 membrane had a larger mean pore size and a wider pore size distribution than that of ZrO2 membrane. The shapes of the pore size distribution curves obtained from the two methods are similar for the same membrane. All the results indicated that both methods could reflect the pore size distribution of membranes and that the combination of the two methods was recommendable for the characterization of ultrafiltraton membranes.
