Nursing sensitive quality indicators could measure nursing quality quantitatively. Obtaining the data of nursing sensitive quality indicators from information platform could improve the accuracy and timeliness. In this article, the authors reviewed the concept, content of nursing sensitive quality indicators and the present situation, advantages, problems and corresponding countermeasures of using information platform in monitoring nursing sensitive quality indicators. It could provide reference for nursing managers to use information platform to monitor nursing sensitive quality indicators.
