Considering a class of discrete Lotka-Volterra competitive model with deviating arguments and external perturbation, some sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the persistence and global stability of the system by feedback control and some analysis techniques. Biologically, it means that the discrete Lotka-Volterra competitive model will persist and develop stablely.
