近年来,负折射介质的相关研究已然成为了物理学界的热点问题,其具有的奇异的物理现象不仅频频在网络及媒体上出现,甚至成为了大学本科教学的前沿拓展内容.本文系统研究了筷子及球体放入折射率为-1的假想液体中的成像现象,纠正了先前网络上有关此类现象的错误认识,加深了人们对于负折射成像的理解,并希望对讲授负折射的相关内容有所借鉴。
Recently,research on negative-index material has become a hot frontier topic in physics,which not only attracted extensive public attention with lots of related pictures appearing online,but also have been selected by some university teachers in related course teaching. Here,we systematically study the imaging problems for a chopstick or a sphere put into a cup filled with negative-index"water". Our results not only clarify some misunderstandings existing in current public medium related to such problems,but also enrich our knowledge of negative-refraction imaging. We hope this work can provide valuable assistance to teaching relevant knowledge in related courses.
