为提高电磁斥力高速开断器(HERj)的介质恢复性能,设计了石英砂灌装开断器的结构方案。搭建了包含电流回路、自然换流回路以及高压回路的介质恢复试验电路,在换流电流峰值为2.4kA(上下波动范围〈3%)、介质恢复时间为60μs、加载高压为1.5kV的电气参数条件下,完成了有、无石英砂2种方案的介质恢复性能对比试验。试验结果表明,灌装石英砂后的HERI分断速度比未灌装石英砂时降低了21.2%;然而,由于灌装的石英砂可以冷却电极,且增加了开断器腔体内的压力,因此其介质恢复强度不降反升,说明灌装石英砂的HERI方案具有更好的介质恢复性能。
In order to improve the recovery characteristic of dielectrics in highspeed electromagnetic repulsion isolators (HERIs), we proposed an improved design of HERI which has isolator cavity filled with silica sands. Moreover, we estab lished an experiment circuit, which consists of a current circuit, a natural currenttransfer circuit and a highvoltage circuit, and conducted comparison experiments of dielectric recovery in isolator cavities with/without silica sand filling, under the conditions including the transfer current of 2.4 kA in amplitude (with variation less than 3%), the recovery time of dielec tric about 60μs and the loaded highvoltage of 1.5 kV. The experiment results show that with silica sand filling, the breakaway speed of HERI is reduced by 21.2%, but since the sands could cool down electrodes and they increase the pressure in cavity, the dielectric recovery performance of HERI is improved rather than weakened, i.e., the proposed de sign of HERI filled with high density silica sand is improved in dielectric recovery characteristics.
