The adaptive control problem of a class of uncertain chaotic systems with delay has been considered in this paper. A novel controller is constructed based on Lyapunov functional. The proposed controller, which is easily designed, ensures that the state of the controlled chaotic systems globally asymptotically track the given bounded trajectories. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed controller.
