The article first defines the concept, connotation and the skill composition of College Legal Eng- lish Course, the new curriculum model. And then it makes clear the differences between College Legal English Course and Bilingual Courses for Law. Furthermore, the article puts forward some reflections and suggestions on innovative talents orientation, foreign language standard, muhi-model teaching and teaching staff construction in order to improve the language skills in college English classrooms, boost the comprehensive quality of legal con- sciousness and legal sense and promote innovative talents training.
