By analyzing the topography and debris source, it＇s found that there are rich sources at the top of the Jiaobangou valley and the valley＇s area is large with steep terrains. Storms are likely to cause large-scale landslides. The frequency method was used to calculate the value range of critical rainfall for debris flows.
