The relationship between depressive disorders and breast cancer has become a new hot spot in the medical field, given the limitations that psychological factors are not controllable, animal depression model plays an important role in the research progress of the disease. Here is to summarize the methods of prepara- tion and evaluation of tumor-associated depression model in recent years, and to explore the role of serotonin （5-HT） in the course of depressive disorder, laying the foundation for new therapeutie targets for depressive disorder type breast cancer.
