As the vendor managed inventory system is very complex, has the characteristics of high level meeting, non-linear, multiple feedback, so it is very hard to describe this system by conventional linear theory and method. Based on analysis the vendor-managed inventory model, we discussed the key factors involved in vendor managed inventory system in this paper. Through causality analysis, supply chain dynamic simulation model based on vendor managed inventory strategy was constructed. By adjusting the parameters of this model, we can are analysis and optimization the model both in sensitivity and bottlenecks, enabling enterprises simulation the strategy throughout the supply chain management. It provides supplementary and reference for enterprises developing inventory decision.
