英文摘要：

The changes in survival rate and dry weight of Pedicularis rex, a hemiparasitic plant were assessed with different host speices, and the distances between host and hemiparasite. The resuhs indi- cated that P. rex had strong autotrophic ability and can survive the seedling stage without host plants. Whilst parasitizing on host plants, a significant growth improvement was exhibited by P. rex, which in- dicated a strong host dependence of this hemiparasitic plant. Both host species and the distances be- tween host plants and the hemiparasite had a significant effect on the growth of P. rex. Therefore, in accord to our findings, the type of host species and the distance between host and hemiparasite must be taken into account for successful cultivation of P. rex.
