无鼎是1993年在河南平顶山市应国墓地一座中型长方形竖穴土坑墓(M242)中出土的一件有铭青铜器,铭文记载了"周礼"中的丧服礼,为考古发掘之首次发现,具有重要的史料研究价值。本文拟对该鼎的年代、作器者的身份进行分析,并在铭文考释的基础上对丧服礼及相关问题谈谈我们的一些思考,对有的地方就现时条件下可能存在多种解释者,也采取多解并说的方法,一并提出来供大家讨论,恳请专家批评指正。
The Ji Ding-tripod is an archaeologically unearthed inscribed bronze vessel of the Ying State in the early Western Zhou Dynasty;its inscription recorded the mourning dress system in the ritual system of the Zhou Dynasty.This is the first archaeologically discovered records about the mourning dress system of the Zhou Dynasty,and therefore it has important academic values.This paper analyzed the date and the status of the maker of this vessel,and discussed the mourning dress system and the relevant issues based on the interpretation of the inscription,and presented the authors’ own opinions on the contents which may have different decipherments and provided commentaries on these decipherments in the realistic view.
