英文摘要：
Objective--To analyze the properties and the dependence of the maximum and minimumfunctions on the interval of definition. Methods--The continuity, monotonicity and differentiability ofthe maximum and minimum functions are investigated with analytical method. Results and Conclu-sion-The maximum and minimum functions discussed herein are continuously dependent on their in-terval of definition, however, the differentiability of the kinds of functions is uncertain.
