To promote development of circular economy in major function oriented zoning is very useful for transform economic development models. Based on the four types of priority zones, the article summarizes the corresponding development patterns of circular economy in different region, which consists of characteristics, dynamic mechanism and future problem. Furthermore, the paper divides the four development patterns into eight types according to the diversity of regional practice, economic level and natural resources. The circular economy mode of production will conform to the spatial plan in China.
